that longed for just one kiss... _____________________________ Jason smiled as she promised, knowing she meant every word of it. He had forgotten how it felt to be this close to her with her not knowing about the love he felt towards her. He couldn't help but hope, deep down, that the feelings were mutual. Something about her return had gotten him thinking about that a lot more than he did before she left. He didn't waver as her thumb brushed his lips, in fact, he grew rather fond of the feeling very quickly. His lips parted in response, warm puffs of breath spreading out over hand, almost in slow motion. He saddened a bit when she stopped, noticing a sort of short freeze overcome her. He squeezed her hand gently as if to say 'I don't mind' though he just wanted to tell her.
"Are you kidding? I named my guitar after you because I played so much after you left." As he said this, Jason thought back to his guitar, Roxy, which sat in her satin lined case and leaned against the wall in his room at his house. The acoustic guitar had become a part of his family when he was thirteen, and he named it the moment he got it. He saw this as a good excuse to cover his slightly overdramatic obsession with the girl he was sitting with. Made things less awkward between them if she didn't know. "Did you ever ask them why they played guitar? Were they expecting some sort of payment? Or were they actually playing for the honest feel of it?" He didn't expect her to answer his hypotheticals. He had more to say anyways. "I hate it when people play for money. It's completely contradictory of the actual purpose of music." Music was always something Jason had been passionate about, for as long as he could remember. He considered it a safe haven for himself whenever he needed somewhere to get away from it all. That was probably why he was so 'protective' of it.
He looked up at the sky for a few moments, just long enough to see the gray color that had taken over the sky. He loved the rain, in fact, he would stay outside when it rained until the last drop fell. Jason looked over at Roxanne to see her looking at him. He couldn't help but think she was hiding something from him. The feelings for her were starting to become too much for him to bare, especially with her so close to him. "Roxanne?" He didn't believe he was actually going to do this.
Jason moved so he was inches from her face, his gaze piercing hers, looking for something that he'd seen earlier. "Tell me something. Do you feel like you're being pulled towards me in a way that is unexplainable, yet you know exactly what it is?" As the words passed his lips, he couldn't help but feel like he was jumping off a cliff. But his feelings had been eating at him for so long, especially when she left. After that day, he didn't see him ever getting the chance to tell her what he'd wanted to tell her for over three years. "Does it feel like you've been holding your breath for five years, just hoping for the opportunity to see me again? To tell me something that you've wanted to tell me for as long as you could remember?" He felt like he was probing at something deep inside of her, which was what he was trying to do. If she didn't know what he was talking about, he'd have to slap himself later; hard.

( Don't you remember? We promised never to forget )---------------------------------------------- Roxy giggled quietly when he said that he named his guitar after her because he'd played it so much after she left. She liked it, it was cute. She wished that she'd had something like that, unfortunately she'd just had a stuffed animal that got renamed, but that was definitely a hush hush thing. Like she was going to tell him she named her bear after him and hugged it every night. Yeah.. Okay. That would happen right after the sky fell. But oh well, she'd have to deal with that. He asked her if she'd ever asked why they played, and she shook her head. "I didn't really have to ask. They were mostly doing it for money, unless of course they had a camera crew around them, then they were doing it for a music video." she laughed a little and sighed.
The rain had started to fall, and she looked up at the sky. As long as it didn't start thundering and lightening, she was fine. But even if it did, she was with Jason and she was sure he remembered the fact that she was terrified of that. Closing her eyes, she let the rain fall down around her face, and just thought about everything. It was only a light rain, but it was enough to make her smile. She missed the rain from here, for some reason, it felt different to when she was in the states. Maybe because this was the rain that she was used to, the rain that felt right to her. The spring rain here was so much better, more pure than in the states, and she was glad to finally be able to feel it again.
He said her name, and she looked back down at him. Her eyes opened as she watched him move closer to her. She bit down on her lip, looking into his eyes. She listened to him talk, and she kept her eyes intently on his, was he simply guessing what she was trying not to let show, or was he really feeling this way for her? His final question replayed in her mind, and she bit down hard onto her lip. What was this all meaning? Had he had something to tell her, and been waiting just as long as she had to tell him how she really felt? She looked down at their hands, just thinking of the best way to answer his question, the best way to express herself to him, without showing him just how crazy about him she really was.
After a couple minutes, she looked up at him, her eyes once again looking deep into his eyes. She took her hand back from his, and put both of them on his cheeks. She rubbed the sides of his face with her thumbs gently, her mind getting ready for the biggest thing it'd ever allowed to happen. this was going to either make everything better, or completely break their friendship. All she could hope for was that something good was actually going to come from this. Of course, that would happen only if she was reading him right. Very slowly, she leaned in, her lips touching his. She kissed him passionately, her hands moved to the side of his neck.
After a couple seconds, she pulled back and bit down on her lip. Her hands fell away from his head, and she just stared at him. "i.. " she said, biting down on her lip. Her eyes fell away from his, and she closed them tight. "i don't know where that came from." she whispered, pulling her knees back up. She wrapped her arms around her waist, and sat still again, just hoping that she hadn't completely messed things up in one day. burying her face against her knees, she tried to keep her breathing steady and not start crying again. "I love you Jason, i have for a really long time." she said into her legs, not really sure if he could hear her or not.

that longed for just one kiss... _____________________________ Jason watched Roxanne intently as she pondered on his words. Minutes that felt like eternities passed, leaving him to feel like he'd just screwed everything up. What if she didn't feel the way he felt? Had her eyes portrayed her own feelings for him? Or simply a mimick of his own affection for her? Intentional or not, that thought cut him deeper than he'd wished it to. The words 'never mind' were just itching to be said, even though he knew they wouldn't work.
Just when he had nearly lost hope, her chocolate brown eyes locked with his again. Jason couldn't even begin to explain what he was feeling. He found himself holding his breath as he waited for a response from her, anything would do. He just wanted something. He felt defeated as her hand left his. It was all over now. A wave of hopelessness rushed over him before he even had the chance to prevent it. All of those feelings disappeared when her hand touched his cheek. No, wait, both hands. They were cupping his face. He felt her thumbs stroke the sides of his face, everything turning around for him now. He knew what was coming next.
His eyes closed as she leaned in, his lips moving gently against hers when they touched. Though it lasted only a couple of seconds, it was enough for Jason. He was deeply saddened when she pulled her knees to her chest. She was acting as if a kiss wasn't what he wanted. As she spoke into her knees, he made out the words "I love you, Jason." Those four words made him freeze up completely. So many years of worrying how she felt, and he didn't have to worry. He felt like an idiot for not saying anything sooner. "I love you too, Roxanne. I just wish I had told you sooner. The day your mother died was the day I realized just how special you were to me. I don't ever want to be with out you, love." The honesty of his words floated off into the air, making everything out in the open now. The weight that lifted off his chest was massive; he felt like he could take on Superman, now.
He gently lifted her head out of her knees and looked deep in her eyes. He didn't want her to stay buried in her lap, hiding away from everything. He'd done that for over six years, he was done with hiding. Somewhere deep down, Jason knew she felt the same way. His eyes searched her face; taking in her eyes, her lips, the color of her cheeks. Everything was perfect. "Kiss me again, Roxy." His fingertips played at her jaw while his thumb grazed her cheek gently. His eyes went from her lips to her eyes again, a new light shining in his.

( Don't you remember? We promised never to forget )---------------------------------------------- Although she'd thought she'd felt him kiss back, she didn't want to chance it. She was terrified she'd just ruined the most important thing to her, and now she didn't know what she was going to do. How do you explain that kiss to someone that doesn't feel the same way? oh sorry, i was just seeing if you loved me, and instead of using words i decided i was going to try and kiss you? yeah.. that was going to work out well. She continued trying to breath slowly, just making sure that she wasn't going to cry. He'd seen enough of that already today, and the last thing she wanted to do was cry in front of him again. Enough was enough for one day, right?
A whole eternity seemed to pass before she'd even heard him move next to her. She was contemplating just getting up and telling him that she was sorry. this wasn't how it was supposed to happen, she knew better than to kiss him, but she still did it. how could she have? what had she honestly just done? she heard him say that he loved her, and she looked up at him. He said that he should have said it sooner, and she let out a heavy breath. He loved her? He loved her back? Slowly, a smile crept across her face, this was perfect, everything really was going to be okay. He said he never wanted to be without her, and she shook her head. "never." she said quietly, looking back up at him.
He told her to kiss him again, and she nodded. That was something that she could do now. She adjusted a little, and wrapped her arms around his neck. Slowly she leaned up again, her lips touching his. This was a feeling that was more amazing by the second. She'd waited so long to feel it, and now she knew that it was something she was going to feel more and more of. This had to have been the best day in the history of the world, and anyone that disagreed with her was absolutely insane. The rain started to fall down a little harder, and she smiled against his lips. Kissing her true love in the rain? cliche, and yet amazing at the same time. She held onto him tightly, just kissing him deeply, trying to show him how much she really did love him through the kiss.

that longed for just one kiss... _____________________________ His eyes didn't leave her as she pondered over his words, every moment adding pressure to his thoughts. He watched as second by second, a different emotion passed over her face, relief being a popular one. A smile appeared on his face when she said she agreed with him. He hadn't expected anything else from her about that. His smile widened as she moved toward him, something telling him that he waited too long to tell her. Jason's hands went to her waist as she leaned in, his eyes closing when their lips met. He'd wanted to do this for the longest time, and he was finally doing it. He was finally kissing the love of his life. As the rain fell harder, the kiss was deepened. He could feel her emotions in the kiss, something he'd never really experienced before. He went with it willingly, pouring all of his love and passion for her into the kiss.
He held her against his body, one of his hands gently running up her side and into her hair. His fingertips gripped at it gently, part of him realizing that it was just as soft as it used to be, even if it was becoming slightly damp. The last time he'd really touched her hair was when she was crying on him, the day her mother died. Then, it had been in a comforting way; he wanted her to stop crying because hated it when she cried, even now it felt like he'd failed somewhere when she did. This time, however, it was about the complete opposite of comforting. It was a mix of his want and some deep feeling inside of him that made it alright to. He really wouldn't be able to explain it to anybody, it was just something that was.
Words couldn't describe what he was feeling as they kissed. Every part of him had been on fire by her just being close to him. It was magnified to extremes that he couldn't even begin to explain. Especially with the rain falling on them. Jason continued kissing her deeply, his hand remaining on her waist, holding her close to him.

( Don't you remember? We promised never to forget )---------------------------------------------- Roxy felt his hands on her hips, moving against her side and through her hair. She tightened her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss as much as possible. This was beyond perfect, and exactly what any girl could possibly want. She smiled against his lips, feeling his passion pouring through the kiss. Hopefully he was getting the message she was trying to send through the kiss, just how happy he'd made her in the past hour or so. Her life had been made complete when he held her, and told her that he loved her. She'd dreamt of those words coming from him so many times, and now she was probably going to hear it all the time, and it was something she looked forward to.
After a little more kissing, she pulled back and rested her forehead against his. Laughing quietly, she bit down on her lip and looked up into his eyes. She ran her fingers through his now soaked hair, and laughed a little more. They'd been sitting in the rain, and she was pretty sure that neither of them had even noticed. She pecked his lips gently again, before looking at their bags. "i hope you didn't have anything of importance in that" she said, resting her head against his shoulder. she listened to the sound of his breathing, mixed with the feeling of his heart beating, she was becoming very calm. the rain didn't even phase her anymore, she was sitting just where she wanted to be, and the quiet sound of him breathing was more than enough to put her to sleep.
A clap of thunder roared, and Roxy jumped. Her eyes shot open, and she hugged him tighter. She shook into his arms a little more, trying to calm herself back down. She'd nearly been asleep, just sitting with him on the rocks, and the thunder had completely startled her. she closed her eyes again, this time a little tighter than before, keeping her arms tight around him. "sorry." she mumbled, turning her face into his shoulder. thunder scared her enough on it's own, and the fact that she'd been so relaxed in his arms, made the clap of thunder scare her even more than it should have.

that longed for just one kiss... _____________________________ As they kissed, Jason couldn't help but think about how this would change things for him. The future seemed a lot brighter now that Roxy was back; his purpose for living was sitting in his arms. He had no reason to feel like he had before he saw her that morning ever again. Things would just get better from here; especially with them both being on their own, basically.
His gaze locked with hers when she pulled back, watching her as he felt her hand move through his soaked hair. Her laugh brought his smile to new limits; he hadn't been this happy in years. He listened to her as she spoke after giving him a quick kiss. "After living in Wales for twenty one yeasr, I've learned to cover everything I carry in plastic." Jason laughed as he spoke, his hand moving out of her hair and back to her waist.
As she laid on his shoulder, his hand stroked her hair. He could stay forever just like this, and it wouldn't bother him one bit. He closed his eyes, letting the rain fall on his face. Every breath he took was full of her intoxicating scent; it satisfied wants and needs that he'd had for years upon years, even more so with her being this close.
Thunder and lightning had never phased him. In fact, he found both of them rather interesting and beautiful. Jason wasn't suprised when Roxy jumped at a thunderclap, his arms involuntarily tightening around her out of habit as hers did the same to him. He remembered how frightened she was when it came to thunder, even after five years of her absence.
"Don't be sorry, love. It's alright." His voice sounded wavy in the rain, but he was sure she would hear it just find, considering the way she was sitting. "We could always go inside? Or ditch and go to my place? I'm sure Carmie and Serinty would love to see you." It had been so long since Jason had ditched school, he couldn't believe he was suggesting it. Though he'd back up his words with actions, he laughed at the fact that it had taken him months to break that habit after she left.

( Don't you remember? We promised never to forget )---------------------------------------------- Jason's arms tightened around her as he held her close. He must have remembered how much she hated thunderstorms, and that made her smile a little. she knew that jason was going to protect her, his arms tightening around her signified that for her. She held onto him tight, just keeping her mind all focused on jason. she was hoping that if she did that, the thunder wouldn't scare her so much, unfortunately for her, she was completely wrong. Another loud clap of thunder rolled, and she jumped again. She must have seemed really silly to him, still terrified of thunderstorms. It was something she'd never gotten over, and probably something she never would.
He said that they could go inside, and she looked up at the school. As much as she knew she should go inside and go to her classes, just claim to have been late, she didn't want to. She wanted to stay with Jason, at least for the day. they had their lives back, things were going well. They could always just go to classes tomorrow, but for today, they should be themselves and spend the day just hanging out. "can we just go to your house? Even if we go inside i don't think i could focus on anything the teachers would have to say.' she admitted, biting down on her lip. "we can just go tomorrow and tell them that something had come up." she said quietly, not really sure if he was going to go for it or not.
After a few more minutes of sitting and talking, she carefully let go of him and got off the rocks. She was now, absolutely soaked, and so was her bag. She picked her bag up, and put it on her shoulder. She picked his up also, and held it out for him. It was up to him if they were going to go to class, or go back to his house. She'd only agreed if he was really up for it, of course she wasn't going to force him to skip with her. If he didn't want to skip, she'd simply go home until the storm was over, then go walk around and find somewhere else that held a lot of memories. She waited for him, not really knowing what was going through his head, other than things were starting to work out the way they were supposed to.

that longed for just one kiss... _____________________________ Jason held Roxanne close as she jumped from another thunderclap, a smile formed on his face this time, though. He found her fear of thunder adorable, and knew that he would always be with her during thunderstorms, just so he could see her like this.
He watched her bite her bottom lip as she spoke, something inside of him going off as she did this. It was one of the many things about her that he found sweet and innocent, yet absolutely sexy at the same time. Jason knew exactly what she meant by not being able to focus. "Yeah, let's go, Roxy." He could hear a slight tension in his voice from noticing her do this, knowing that he'd have to work on hiding it later.
He stood after she did, noticing just how wet he was from the weight of his clothes. "Thank you. The gratitude of his words floated from his lips as he grabbed his now-soaked bag from her. He threw it over his shoulder and laced his fingers with hers before she had the chance to object; though he doubted that she would.
Jason wondered if ditching would bring back the habit that he'd worked so hard on breaking. The only reason he stopped doing it was because he didn't really have anybody to do it with. They used to do it all the time when they were little. But after Roxy left, he'd just done it to get away from people. He didn't really mind if he started ditching again. His parents wouldn't either. They were used to it. And if by some weird occurance they did, they'd just get over it. He was twenty one now, he could do whatever he wanted to do; whether they accepted it or not.

( Don't you remember? We promised never to forget )---------------------------------------------- Jason took his bag from her, and then her hand. Roxy walked next to him through the rain, just looking around. Everything seemed so familiar, yet so different at the same time. it was like she was seeing things in a whole new way. even things that she saw only an hour before. Her first day back in Wales and she was already skipping the classes, she hadn't even made it to them! She bit her lip and laughed quietly, the sound of it flowing through the wind and rain. They walked back towards his house, a walk they'd done hundreds of time, but again, it seemed new and different. She smiled, focusing on the feeling of jason walking next to her and holding her hand.
It was going to be really weird for her, going to Jason's house after five years. Was it going to be different? The same? She sighed, just letting her mind wander over everything. She didn't have the same house that she had when she lived here before, they'd sold it when they were moving to the states, and now that they were back, the owners wouldn't sell it. Though she was contemplating telling them that it was haunted to see if they'd sell it back. She laughed quietly at her own thoughts again, and bit down on her lip. This was going to be her life, maybe she didn't have to get them to sell the house. Maybe her and jason would be able to get a place somewhere together after of course they were done with school. They did love each other, so what was going to be the big deal?
Soon they reached his house, and she waited for him to open the door. She may have just come back from the states, but she did still have the manners that her mother had taught her before she died. Hopefully once inside, Jason would be able to give her something to dry off with and change into. the wet clothes really weren't that comfortable. Oh well.

that longed for just one kiss... _____________________________ Jason had always been glad that he lived so close to the school; made it a lot easier to ditch when he wanted to. As they walked to his house, a smile couldn't help but stay on his face. It was just like old times, but things had changed immensely.
Sure, there was still one year age difference, but it felt like the five years had added even more distance between them. Jason didn't mind it at all. In fact, he looked at it as something to talk about. He didn't really need subjects, though. He could talk about anything for ever. One topic could go into a massive speech of him rambling on about nothing, though staying with the topic at the same time. He had always been good with words.
As they reached his house, he pulled his keys out of his jacket pocket and unlocked the large dark green door, opening it and moving out of the way for Roxanne to enter first. He followed her in, noticing a rather large difference in temperature. Jason shivered from the difference, knowing he'd probably get sick from walking in the rain. "Make yourself at home.". He took off his jacket and hung it on the coat rack that sat beside his door.
A black cat jumped up onto his shoulder, a white cat doing the same to Roxanne. "Looks like Serinty missed you, love." Jason laughed as the cat purred wildly in her arms. Carmie draped himself on his shoulders, not minding the ridiculous amount of water that he absorbed. "I don't know about you, but I've had enough 'wet' for one day." He said this as he pulled the black cat off of his shoulders and set him on the ground.
He lifted his shirt up and over his head as he walked back to his room, exposing his damp skin to the cool air in his house. It had become a habit of him to change when he got home, especially out of wet clothes. He threw the shirt in a hamper, ruffling his hair to get most of the water out of it. "Do you want something dry, love?" Jason's voice echoed in the hallway as he spoke, most of him wondering if she had been freaked out by his 'stripping' in front of her.

( Don't you remember? We promised never to forget )---------------------------------------------- Roxy shrugged out of her hoodie and hung it up next to jason's. She dropped her bag by the door, and smiled as the cat jumped onto her shoulder. She pet him and giggled a little. "well hello there" she said. Cats were her favourite animal, and jason's had always been the ones that she liked the most. she wasn't allowed to have any of her own because her father was allergic, so she had to settle with sharing jason's. She kissed the cats head and watched Jason set the other on the ground, and she bent down, petting that cat as well. "I missed you both too" she laughed, putting the white cat on the ground next to the other.
Jason walked down the hall and took his shirt off. She bit her lip and followed after him. "yeah, i've had enough wet for a while." she said, leaning against his door frame. The cats followed her, rubbing against her leg. She looked down at them and laughed a little, shaking her head. that was one of the main reasons she loved cats, they were so lovable and cuddly. Always looking for attention. She looked around his room, trying to remember if it was the same or different. She couldn't really tell if he'd changed anything, or if it was all the same and just looked different. There were things that she definitely remembered, and things that she were positive were new, but other than that, it was pretty much nothing she could remember.
He asked if she wanted something dry, and she nodded her head. Pulling her eyes away from jason's room, she looked at him. "Please. I'd rather not get a cold." she said, staying stood where she was. She really didn't want to drip any more through his house than she already had. "you'll have to come and see my new house sometime soon." she said, looking around his room again. When they'd moved to america, they sold their house here. And when her father had finally decided to move back, the people who were living there didn't want to sell the house back to them. therefore they had to get a new house. it wasn't all bad, it was really nice, and a lot bigger than they're old house. but it just didn't have the memories in it.

that longed for just one kiss... _____________________________ Jason turned to see Roxanne at his door. He smiled, glad that she hadn't been freaked out. "You can come in here, love. Everything is waterproof." She acted as if there was a barrier covering the entrance to his room. It wasn't like he hadn't drenched his room with rain water before.
Though he'd done some rearranging of his room since the last time she was in here, it was pretty much the same. The same posters of rock bands scattered along his walls, the same electronics with an addition of a few new ones, the same massive collection of video games and CDs, the same bean bag chairs in the corner; nothing she hadn't seen before.
He dug through his drawers of clothes, finding a pair of plaid pajama pants and a shirt with some random logo on the front. "Hope these work. Everything I have is much too big for you." Jason said as he set the clothes he'd picked out for her on his bed. "You know where the bathroom is if you'd like to change in there." He pulled out another pair of pajama pants for himself. He'd didn't figure they'd be going anywhere for a while, so it didn't matter how they dressed.
He looked out of his window, seeing a constant fall of rain on his window and the yard behind the house. The large oak tree in his backyard now adorned a swing, something that wasn't here the last time Roxy was. He watched it as it swung back and forth from the breezes. He could hear the patter of the drops on the roof. Ever since he was a little boy, he loved that sound. If Jason ever found himself feeling down, once it started raining, everything would be okay.
Carmie and Serinty had made themselves comfortable on his bed after making sure Roxanne's legs were covered with their fur. Jason swore he could see them smiling to themselves. "I'd love to. Is it sort of like your old house?" He had a feeling that she would say no. Her old house had been one of their many hangouts when they were children. Along with his house, their spot, and the mall.

( Don't you remember? We promised never to forget )---------------------------------------------- Roxy laughed a little and walked in, taking a better look at the things she didn't recognize. "I was just looking around. It's easier to take in the whole room there than stand in here and look around." She said, picking up the shirt and pj pants he'd set out for her. She looked around the room again, and smiled. She was finally back home. Back with Jason. Everything was good again, and she was happy. She'd fallen into a slight depression when she left, which was partly the reason she didn't have any friends in New York. She didn't want to be around anyone, so she made that clear. Weird seeing the pretty girl with no friends.
She bit down on her lip and looked out the door. "i'll be right back" she said, walking out of the room and towards the bathroom. She closed the door behind her, locking it. She pulled her shirt off, and dropped it onto the floor. She looked at herself in the mirror, and laughed a little. Was it possible to look different than she had only an hour or so before? Without anything major happening to make her look different? Shaking her head she pulled the shirt he gave her on, and slipped out of her jeans. Putting the pj wants on that he handed her, she rolled the waistband down, so they weren't too long for her. picking up her wet clothes, she opened the door and walked back down to his room.
She walked back in and held onto the wet clothes. He asked if it was anything else like her old house, and she shook her head. "the new one is a lot bigger, but it has no memories in it." she laughed quietly. "Can we dry these so i have something to wear when i go home?"' she asked, holding the clothes up. she bit down on her lip and smiled at him, this was their time now. She put her clothes on the ground with his, and walked to his bed. She laid back, her head resting on his pillow and looked up at him. his bed was more comfortable than she remembered, and it was the comfort of where it was that made it comfortable. she couldn't remember the number of times that she'd run here to get away from whatever was going on at her house. Didn't matter the time either, Jason always let her in and took care of her. Her father always knew that she was here, if she wasn't at home. So he never bothered worrying about her.

&& I still press your letters to my lips,
and cherish them in parts of me
that longed for just one kiss... _____________________________ Jason nodded in agreement when she said that it was easier to look at the room as a whole from the doorway. "Very true, love." He said, his hand still ruffling his hair from the water that insisted on remaining in it.
Jason changed while Roxy did, sliding out of his wet jeans and into the pajama pants. He threw his jeans and socks into the hamper where he threw his shirt. He pulled the dry shirt over his head, just now taking notice of how tight it was. It wasn't tight in size, just how snug it fit against his muscles was startling.
He hadn't intentionally bought or decided to wear the shirt, it was just that you could trace every one of his muscles on the shirt. It was probably just a shopping mishap. But, there was a possibility that he'd gained more muscle. Jason smiled at this, wondering how many of his other shirts would do this now.
Roxanne entered the room again and answered his question about her new house. "Yeah, I can understand that feeling." He said before she asked about her clothes. "I'll go put them in the dryer." Jason grabbed her clothes off the floor and walked to the washroom down the hall. He checked her pockets for anything, setting what he found on top of the dryer, then threw her clothes inside.
As Jason walked back to his room, he realized just how happy he was that she was back. The Roxanne that he grew to know and love was now his Roxanne. And she loved him in return; something he used to think only happened in faerie tales. Everything was finally returning to normal.
Jason entered his room, seeing Roxy lying on his bed looking up at him. He smiled at this, remembering how often she'd come to his house. He never really minded her being there. In fact, he adored being her safe haven when she needed one. He didn't like the circumstances that she went through, but he liked that his house was where she always went to.
He joined her on the queen sized bed, his eyes never leaving hers as he layed down beside her. Her scent filled his lungs as he breathed, part of him knowing his pillow would smell like her for days. "Just like old times, eh?" Jason smiled as he said this, memories and flashbacks taking over his thoughts.
