&& I STOPPED BELIEVING IN FAIRYTALES Ugh. Stupid rules. She hated this school, didn't know why her dad wanted her to come here, but all she knew was that if she didn't come she was going to get cut off. And as she was eighteen and working the poles just to get her own spending money because of that, Renee was really not interested in not getting money from her dad. He bathed in money, and he lavished her in front of people so that no one knew that he was making her work, because the Thyme's didn't work hard, everyone knew that. Which was why most had assumed her stripping on stage was another rebellious act, something she was doing for the hell of it, no one realized that it was just because it was the only job she could do without wanting to tear her brains out from her ears. Renee didn't hate her job, she hated some of the men that leered at her while she worked yes, but she didn't hate her job. It was fun and exhilarating, and a fabulous work out, but she knew that it wouldn't give her an ounce of respectability in the world. And you had to be respectable to be somebody, and Renee had big plans for herself when she grew up.
Lifting a cigarette to her lips, she lit it in one quick move and pocketed the lighter, not wanting the flash to give away her location to any snooping administration. Damn it, she needed a smoke. She was eighteen, completely legal, and her kid was annoying the hell out of her. Weren't moms supposed to be all lovey dovey and maternal like, falling in love with their kid as soon as they saw it? Well Renee certainly wasn't like that, her son was so annoying that sometimes she considered sending him to her mother, 'cause at least her mom liked kids and all that crap. Renee was sick of all the yelling, screaming, and puking. Oh yeah, and avoiding phone calls from her baby daddy, she was tired of having to do that to. Because as bad a mom she was, she knew for sure that her child's father would suck and she didn't want to introduce her son to him, she'd already told him his daddy was dead. At least that had made him stop asking 'wheres daddy' all the time. Maybe someday she'd find him a new daddy to replace the one she knew would have failed at it, but that would require genuine emotion for another human being, and as much as she wanted to love her child, she knew there was no way in hell she could feel any good emotion other than pride and lust. And as those were both part of the seven deadly sins list, she doubted they were all that great.
She took another drag on her cigarette, thanking whoever was up there that she had successfully skipped her next period, even if the main goal behind it all had been to get a few smokes in. She needed the nicotine though, and she doubted anyone would actually blame her for it. No one had the guts to do that in all actuality, everyone was afraid of her. Good. That was the way she liked it, she didn't want anyone getting all attached to her, her son was allowed to think she needed him and that he was wanted--and in a way he probably was--but no one else was. She didn't want a damn thing to do with any of the people here, unless it was one of the guys she was taking to bed. That was the only relationships she had time for, one night stands, and she always used a hell of a lot of protection these days. After one kid, she knew that she couldn't handle another. Her father was threatening to disown her over not going to finishing school, if he found out she had a kid--and she knew he would eventually--then he really would disown her. Her only hope on that front would be she got her son to see her mom before her dad, because then her mom could talk her dad into believing that her kid wasn't bad at all and they should forgive Renee about it. Or she'd claim rape. Either way, she refused to be disowned.

( Let's be a modern day Bonnie && Clyde !! )
--------------------------------------------------- Walking through the woods, Daisy looked at all the different bugs and animals all around her. Wrinkling her nose, she dug her hands deep into her pockets and stepped around as much branches and leaves as she could. it was not fun, and it was dirty and disgusting. Definitely not where she liked to be at all. but of course, it was here, or stay on school grounds. And just because she worked there, didn't mean that she liked it any more than the students did. In fact, she hated being a teacher. but at the time it was the only place hiring. Not long after she got the job at the school however, the local bar scene hired her as a bartender. She'd rather be there than at the school, but of course bills needed to get paid and this was her main source of income. So this is where she had to stay.
Pulling a cigarette from her pocket, she stopped walking only long enough to light it. Putting the pack and the lighter back into her pocket, she continued walking. Looking over her shoulder at the school she wrinkled her nose and sighed. Shaking her head, she looked back towards where she was going, just in time to notice a branch sticking out from the ground. With any luck, she wouldn't have noticed it in time and ended up tripping over it. But with some shear luck, she managed to see it just before it was too late. Stumbling and holding onto a tree trunk, she caught her balance and stopped walking for a minute again. After a few minutes, she walked towards the stone wall that was still in sight of the school, but far enough away that no one could ever see her. She sat down and swung her legs. She took a long drag on her cigarette, and pulled her phone out. Sending a text to a few of her friends, she put it back into her pocket and looked around. There was a small figure not far off into the distance, she squinted her eyes and tried to look, but she couldn't exactly see who it was. After she finished her cigarette off, she put it out on one of the rocks. This was the one thing about being a teacher that she did like. it was always fun to catch people doing something bad. Walking through the woods, the figure was growing in size, and the girl had her back to daisy.
"what exactly are you doing out here this far into the woods Miss?" She asked looking at the girl. She folded her arms over her chest and studied the girl. It didn't really matter to her what they were doing. They weren't skipping her class, and she didn't like being in school either. she'd much rather be in the woods, or somewhere more... clean for that matter. but as her teachers duty, she had to at least ask what they were doing. "you should really go farther into the woods if you're going to do that you know." she said looking at the girl's back. She knew what it looked like for someone to be smoking, and it wasn't hard to tell that that was what this girl was doing. Again, her actual emotions played more of a part in this than her teacher skills. Daisy's friends weren't all that into school, nor were they into learning. But of course the teacher role came into good play when sex was involved. Though, Daisy knew never to overstep that line and have sexual relations with a student. Only her boyfriends, or the random hookups that she had.

&& I STOPPED BELIEVING IN FAIRYTALES Damn. Her cigarette was halfway done now, and she knew there was no way she was going to get enough of a nicotine buzz off of it to get her through the rest of the day. And she really did not want to deal with having to sneak out here for another smoke later on, but she knew she'd probably have to what with the whole roommate situation that was going on. It completely sucked that she couldn't have her own room. On that thought, she took another drag of her cigarette, it was all her dad's fault, not wanting to let her get anything special because they had money. Stupid mother fucker. And this damned cigarette wasn't doing much to help her mood, she was really going to have to seriously consider drugs of a harder variety, although she'd always strayed away from anything other than cigarettes and alcohol under the pretext that she wanted her mind to function, she wasn't sure that keeping her mind functional for long amounts of time was all that good. Sure, it heightened the chance of her failing a class or two, but what the hell. It wasn't like anything they were teaching here was even vaguely important.
Renee sighed, her cigarette was pretty much done, and her body was only just starting to show any signs of recognition to the harmless drug. She pulled another cigarette from the pack, lighting it off of her first one and tossing it away right when she heard the crunch of a foot stepping down on something. Damn it. All she'd wanted was a bit of peace for like five minutes, and she already had some idiot breathing down her neck. A pity for them, they should have been smarter than to interrupt her before she'd at least finished her second cigarette. Sighing on an exhale, she turned around just about when she figured the person had approached her, she had always been good at math and it was simply a matter of doing the math to calculate when the sound would reach her judging from the distance that she'd heard the sound. And yep, there was some orange haired freak that had the faint stench of smoke clinging to her clothes and hair, and as soon as she opened her mouth to speak Renee caught the scent of it there as well, it was always hardest to get the smell off of your hands and mouth, everything else was a piece of cake.
Leaning on one hip, Renee lifted an eyebrow and took another drag on her new cigarette as she gave the girl a little bit of her attention. "What does it look like I'm doing? Flying to the fuckin' moon?" Her words were quick and slightly barbed, but she didn't bother to expend the energy to really make them mean, she didn't know nor did she care about this intruder on her peace. All she wanted was to be left alone, and hopefully sooner rather than later, her words would take affect and the little bitch would turn her skinny ass around and walk away. Caution swam into her system when she heard the next words, turning them over in her head as she decided whether or not to believe that the woman was giving her advice on how to smoke on campus. It wasn't like they had shit on her for it anyway, she was completely legal, but she knew that the administration peeps would think of something to get her detention for smoking on campus. Knowing them, it wouldn't even have anything to do with her actually smoking anyway.
She took another drag, buying herself a little more time, and exhaled slowly. "What kind of teacher tells an innocent student how to break the rules?" She asked, her expression cool and nonchalant. She would figure this teacher out before she gave anything away. No teacher she'd met yet had said anything like that, and the only motive behind it that she could figure was to trap Renee into saying something she'd regret, or to lull her into a false sense of security so she could shove her in detention for some rule she was breaking. Which was precisely why she remained alert, her muscles tensed to spring back should the woman make a grab for her when she resisted being taken to the headmistress, if she was here to get her in trouble like Renee suspected.

( Let's be a modern day Bonnie && Clyde !! )
--------------------------------------------------- Daisy always thought it was funny when people younger than her tried to give her an attitude. But of course there was usually a reason for it. She was a teacher after all. But unlike every other teacher in this school, she hated it. She'd much rather be with her friends or at the bar where she actually liked it. This is where she was, and if she had to be here than, she would just have to make the most of it wouldn't she? Even if it was getting through to once student that seemed like she really didn't care about anyone. So far it seemed like they were more in common than really showed. Seeing as no one really knew this girl, and Daisy could easily count the number of people that knew everything about her on one hand. Whether it was a trust issue, or something more.
No one, not even her best friend knew that Daisy was depressive. So depressive that she was actually a self mutilator, but because of her jobs, it couldn't be where anyone else would see it. And she wasn't about to open up and tell anybody that. There wasn't any reason to. Just because she was taking the anti depressants didn't mean they were doing anything to actually help her. In fact, they didn't do anything at all. There were times that she'd go off her meds, for the simple thought that they weren't doing any good for her. And in her mind, she really didn't think they were doing any good at all anyway. She was still lonely, unattached to anyone, and in dyer need of someone stable to be there for her. Shaking her head, she looked back at the girl, her words literally going in one ear and out the other.
Everyone knew who she was, and Daisy even had her in her class. Renee was known well for her bitchyness and her comments. And little did Renee know, they got to Daisy more than she thought. Not by choice, of course. But because she was depressive, they got to her a lot more than anyone should ever let them. Maybe it'd be different if Daisy actually had students that talked to her, and liked her other than as a teacher. But she didn't, so this was where she was stuck on life. No matter how hard she tried to put on a smile, and act as if everything was okay and this was just a routine bust of someone smoking while they were supposed to be in class, if one looked close enough, they could see the pain in Daisy's eyes. Of course she wasn't always like this. When she wasn't in the school, when she was with the people that actually did want her around, she was normally happy unless something happened. And of course they all made sure that she took her meds.
"Innocent my ass, Ms. Thyme." Daisy said quietly, stuffing her hands into her pockets. She looked at the school, then back towards the direction she came from. "If you go about 50 feet back that way, there's a stone wall you can sit on." She said, pointing towards the wall with her hand, still deep inside her pocket. She dropped her hand, crossing them back in front of her. "it's hidden by the trees, but there's just enough space where you can still see the school and know how to get back." She said with a small shrug. Daisy was no more in the mood for this than Renee was, and she simply looked at the girl before starting to turn around and walk away. She'd heard the administration talking about how they were thinking of cutting the art program from the budget, and that was exactly what Daisy taught. Weighing heavily on her mind, she couldn't help but think that she was going to lose her job. But would she get more hours at the bar? Enough that she'd be able to keep her bills paid at least?
